More than 90 percent of thrombosed grafts have a stenotic lesion. Webknown as an AV fistula, or a prosthetic graft placed between an artery and vein, known as an AV graft. For coding purposes, the dialysis circuit comprises two segments: the peripheral dialysis segment and the central dialysis segment. The peripheral segment begins at the arterial anastomosis and extends to the central segment.
